The purpose of the meeting is to examine energy policy in Kansas.

Is our state capable of meeting the energy challenges ahead?

What about the Holcomb coal plant debate?

Sarah Hill-Nelson of the Bowersock Mills and Power Company will give you a window into the history of renewable energy production through the eyes of the oldest renewable producer in the state.

Scott Allegrucci of the Great Plains Alliance for Clean Energy will describe on-going efforts to develop energy policy in Kansas.

Nancy Jackson of the Climate and Energy Project will provide a vision of where we need to go as a state to protect the future for our children.
